My name is Jason R. Abdale. I’m a published writer and artist, a professional historian, teacher, and museum volunteer, and I also run the “Dinosaurs and Barbarians” internet blog about science and history.

I enjoy doing my art, my research, and my writing, and many people both in-person and across social media have commented on how much they enjoy my drawings and reading my articles and books. However, it has become increasingly clear that I can’t do it alone. So, my fellow dinos and barbs, I am now doing what I should have done years ago, and I’m turning to you to help me keep the art and articles flowing. I have recently set up a Patreon page! Hopefully I’ll be able to generate enough funds to keep the work going.

There are three available donation tiers: Triassic ($1 per month), Jurassic ($5 per month) and Cretaceous ($10 per month). All of the money which you donate via Patreon goes to buying books and articles for my research, buying art supplies, and paying to keep “Dinosaurs and Barbarians” on the internet.
