Announcement: My novel won an award!

Hello everyone. On June 3, 2025, my novel Servant of a Living God was officially published. The story is set in the midst of a civil war in ancient Egypt in the year 1669 BC during a time Egyptologists have dubbed the Second Intermediate Period. It is a little-studied time in ancient Egyptian history due to the sparseness of documents and artifacts.

Since it’s been released, several 5-star reviews have been posted to my book’s pages on Amazon and Goodreads. And recently, another development has occurred. I am happy to report that my novel won the Bronze Medal – that’s 3rd Place – in the category of “ancient historic fiction” in the 2025 Global Book Awards.

GLOBAL

This means that my novel Servant of a Living God is the 3rd best ancient history novel IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! Woohoo!!!

If all of this has piqued your interest and you want to see what all of the hype is about, please order a copy today! With the holiday season coming up soon, now might be a good time to start looking around for gifts. If you know someone who loves ancient Egypt or ancient history in general, or if they are interested in military stuff, or if they like good stories full of drama, humor, horror, and heartache, then this book just might be what they’d like. It’s available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many other online book websites.
